Job description

Provide high-quality mental health services and support to individuals. The LCSW, is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to clients facing various emotional and psychological challenges. The LCSW will work in collaboration with the Psychiatrist & PMHNP to promote the overall well-being of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups using various therapeutic modalities.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops to educate clients and communities on mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical standards, state regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and treatment options in the field of social work and mental health.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy and support to diverse populations.
  •  Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and ethical issues in social work practice.
