Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing Toysmithโ€™s social media presence across multiple platforms through content creation, publishing, community engagement, and creator coordination. This role plays a key part in growing brand awareness, increasing customer engagement, and supporting business growth through measurable social media performance
The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, trend-aware, and passionate about social media. This position requires a strong understanding of platform-native content, short-form video, and social media trends, along with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and execute content strategies that support business objectives.
This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and taking ownership of assigned initiatives in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and able to identify opportunities to improve Toysmith's social media presence while driving measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. content creation amp; execution
โ€ข Create, film, edit, and publish social media content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms
โ€ข Produce engaging short-form video content including product demonstrations, lifestyle content, educational content, trend-based content, and promotional campaigns
โ€ข Develop captions, text overlays, hooks, graphics, and supporting creative assets
โ€ข Ensure content aligns with Toysmithโ€™s brand voice, visual identity, and marketing objectives
โ€ข Capture both polished brand content and creator-style content designed for platform engagement
โ€ข Assist with photography, video shoots, and content collection for social media initiatives
2. social media management
  • Execute monthly and weekly social media content calendars
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
  • Support campaigns related to product launches, seasonal promotions, retail partnerships, and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor social channels to ensure consistent brand representation and messaging

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short-form video content
  • Experience filming, editing, and publishing social media content
  • Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects in a hybrid work environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Working conditions are typical of an office environment with regular interaction with an operational warehouse.
