Job description

Position Summary
Oversee the daily management and strategic growth of multiple social media accounts across various platforms for the Sandia Resort and Casino and the Pueblo of Sandia. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player and a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing and growing social media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for creating and updating graphic and video content for all digital social media and mobile app projects (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
  2. Creating, updating and supervising social media and mobile app postings throughout the digital and social media presence.
  3. Partners with Marketing Manager for the creation of graphics and video content for social media projects such as posting content (text/images/video) from events as they happen or pre/post event messaging, updating mobile apps, digital promotional ads and online multimedia marketing materials.
  4. Manages Sandia Resort & Casino Website and all digital and social media sites. Supports Sandia Pueblo website and social media (on an as needed basis).
  5. Provides digital social media updates and oversees in-room experience in the hotel, spa, and golf venues.
  6. Captures analytics of Social Media initiatives for reporting purposes.
  7. Monitor platform analytics to track growth and engagement. Stay updated on emerging trends, platforms and technologies within social and digital marketing.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Create content that resonates with the interests of Sandia Pueblo and Resort & Casino audience and unique to the typical interactions of each channel.
  2. Research current trends and audience preferences in order to create relevant content.
  3. Facilitate and engage in online conversations with customers, including responding to queries or questions from customers.
  4. Maintains and updates, as needed, Resort & Casino Mobile Application.
  5. Measure, record and monitor SEO and performance of social media accounts.
  6. Stay abreast of all the social media updates, modifications and emerging social media sites and trends.
  7. Counsel co-workers on how to make use of social media with the highest success rate.
  8. Develop and implement an optimal posting schedule, taking into consideration metrics and customer engagement.
  9. Suggest and research new ways to attract or engage customers, including long- and short-form social media messages, promotions, contests or other methods.
  10. Assists the marketing department managers with coordinating and attending promotions, entertainment, special events, etc. as needed.
  11. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) identified as a measurement of success. KPI's will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI's as part of the performance review process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Strong business communications skills
  2. Proven experience in reviewing and developing promotional materials and collateral
  3. Strong track record of understanding market dynamics and responding in a pro-active manner to assure achievement of business objectives
  4. Experience analyzing marketing programs, strategies and initiatives for recommendations on pricing and promotions
  5. Ability to create effective internal and external working relationships
  6. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  7. Ability to draft reports and give oral and written presentations
  8. Knowledge of the casino entertainment industry
  9. Experience with advertising and/or direct marketing campaigns
  10. Experience with marketing promotions and/or special events.

Education and Experience
Required:
  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Advertising or related field and four (4) years' experience managing social media accounts professionally.
  2. Proven experience collaborating with creative teams
  3. Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
  4. High level of familiarity with various social media spaces and trends
  5. Familiarity with online marketing strategies and how to implement these strategies
  6. Proven experience as a social media creator
  7. Strong copywriting, grammar and visual storytelling ability

Preferred:
  1. 4-8 years' experience in managing business social media presence
  2. Proven Analytical, multitasking and communication skills
  3. Proficiency in keyword research, SEO and Google Analytics
  4. Working knowledge of online marketing channels and strategies
  5. Working knowledge of social media audiences and marketing drivers for demographic/digital segmentation
  6. Aptitude at delivering creative content (image, video and text)

License/Certifications/Registrations
  1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
  2. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License.
  3. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  4. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
