About the Role  

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Strategist. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker who can translate overarching campaign objectives into actionable social plans, grounded in robust audience insights, behaviors and platform performance. The ideal candidate will be a lover of creativity who works proactively and collaboratively, possesses a consistent pulse on social media updates, industry news, and pop culture, and excels at managing multiple tasks. 


What You'll Do
 
  • Translate overarching campaigns into strategically sound social media plans.
  • Develop comprehensive social content strategies, informed by deep audience insights, competitive analysis, industry trends, and social listening.
  • Craft clear and compelling social briefs for the creative team.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and reporting frameworks for campaign social components in collaboration with data strategists, translating data into actionable insights for continuous optimization.
  • Conduct continuous research into social platforms, best practices, formats, and audience behaviors to inform and evolve campaign strategies.
  • Mentor and lead any junior social team members.
  • Analyze social media performance data, audience insights, platform trends, and social listening data to inform and optimize content strategy and engagement tactics.
  • Articulate the team's content strategy, execution plans, and performance results to internal stakeholders and clients.

What You'll Need 
 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in social media strategy.
  • Expert-level knowledge of algorithms and best practices for key social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience managing influencer marketing campaigns and overseeing community management.
  • Proven ability to develop and drive content strategy, including video, photography, and high-level copywriting aligned with brand voice.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to senior clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation workflows.
  • Experience with social listening tools like Brandwatch is a plus.
