Professionals in Social Compliance frequently encounter challenges such as managing diverse regulations across international supply chains and verifying the accuracy of supplier documentation. Navigating cultural differences, language barriers, and fostering cooperation from vendors can also be demanding. Overcoming these challenges requires collaboration with procurement, legal, and sustainability teams, as well as ongoing learning and adaptation to best practices.

What is a social compliance?

A Social Compliance job involves ensuring that companies adhere to ethical labor practices, fair wages, safe working conditions, and human rights standards within their supply chains. Professionals in this role conduct audits, assess supplier practices, and work on compliance programs to meet legal and corporate social responsibility (CSR) requirements.
