PEER RECOVERY COACH
We are hiring an individual contractor for this position. We will pay you via a billing invoice and you will receive a 1099 at the end of the calendar year. 
Job Summary:The Peer Recovery Coach will promote the mission, vision, and services of Restored Life Continuum of Care to the community, clients, and staff. The Peer Recovery Coach will mentor and facilitate recovery goals and methods for clients to maintain sobriety.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Articulating personal goals for recovery.
  • Identifying barriers to recovery goals.
  • Determining reasonable and holistic steps moving toward sobriety.
  • Complete peer coaching and group facilitating notes in compliance with company standards.
  • All other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a public and personal environment.
  • Basic knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology.
  • Experience with Google Workspace products and client EMR software.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively and in a manner that de-escalates tense situations.

Education and Experience:
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D required.
  • Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC-1 or CAPRC-II) required.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR certification.

Physical Requirements: 
  • May require prolonged periods of standing, bending, and moving.
  • May require the ability to physically restrain individuals.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
