What You'll Do:
- Create handmade soaps and bath products from scratch using the cold process soap-making method while accurately following recipes and production procedures.
- Mix colors, fragrances, and ingredients to create high-quality products.
- Serve as both a Soap Maker and Makery Associate by engaging with guests, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all products we make and sell to confidently educate guests and make product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with a fun, energetic team in a fast-paced retail and production setting.
- This is a labor-intensive position requiring standing, walking, lifting, and constant movement throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout a shift.
- Must be comfortable working around strong fragrances and scents.
- Cold process soap making involves working with lye (sodium hydroxide), a caustic chemical essential to soap production.
- Comprehensive training is provided, and all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is supplied and must be worn during production activities.
