At Crew Carwash, our Purpose is to "Create Smiles and Lifetime Customers." You will have the opportunity to join a Glassdoor Best Place to Work and achieve your full potential!
Crew Carwash is searching for a hands-on developer who likes building and maintaining a variety of solutions, including web applications, integrations, and data pipelines. In this role, you'll own projects end-to-end, from development and data architecture to automation and production updates. You'll also help shape what's next, supporting and giving feedback on pilots of new systems, testing AI capabilities, and weighing in on new technologies.
What you'll do at Crew:
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications, customer-facing solutions, internal sites, and REST APIs.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications and services through REST APIs and SFTP servers.
  • Develop data models and build data ingestion, automation, and ETL pipelines (e.g., SQL Server to Snowflake).
  • Deliver ticket-based development work, from interpreting technical requirements through implementation, release, and verification.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for production updates, including automated build, deploy, and error alerting.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites and perform manual pull-request and code testing.
  • Implement and coordinate application releases, verifying that updates comply with industry standards.
  • Investigate and correct errors, data discrepancies, and production application bugs.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives, including:
    • Snowflake consolidation toward a single source of truth.
    • Modernized application UI and middleware.
    • Audit logging for edited data.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for both newly developed and legacy applications.
  • Create and update reports as needed with DBA support.
  • Provide after-hours application and data support for releases and critical production issues as needed.
  • Support company initiatives, such as internal AI solutions and piloting new vendor products.

Crew's qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Knowledge of application design principles, software development lifecycle, and modern development practices.
  • Proficiency using source control and formal change-control procedures for production releases.
  • Knowledge of database design, data architecture, and data analysis.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Understanding of cloud computing principles and cloud data platforms.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and assess their impact on existing systems.
  • Ability to investigate and evaluate new technical tools and methods to support the company's goals.
  • Ability to deliver quality code changes and fixes using best practices and methods.
  • Ability to work on multiple development efforts at once as they move through development, test, and approval.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and comfortable in a growing, changing company; provides backup for team members when necessary.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality when exposed to sensitive company and employee data as part of programming tasks.

Preferred Experience:
  • C#, ASP.NET, and .NET
  • T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (SSMS)
  • JavaScript and HTML
  • Python
  • PowerShell
  • Git and source control workflows (Azure DevOps)
  • REST APIs, SFTP servers, and web services
  • IIS, Windows Services, and Windows Task Scheduler
  • Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehousing
  • CI/CD tooling (e.g., Team City) and automated testing
  • Development environments (VS Code or Visual Studio)
  • Incident / Request tracking and ticket-based delivery (ServiceNow)

Crew's commitments to you:

  • Free carwashes, naturally
  • Group health, dental, and vision
