Snowflake Architect | About You
As a Snowflake Architect, you are responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of modern cloud data platforms that support enterprise analytics and data-driven decision-making. You bring deep expertise in Snowflake and cloud-native architectures, along with a strong track record delivering greenfield data platforms and leading on-premises to cloud migrations. You operate comfortably at both the strategic and hands-on levels, defining architecture standards while partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure successful execution. You have a strong understanding of data strategy, governance, and enterprise data management, and you value building scalable, secure, and well-governed platforms from the start. You collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders to translate long-term data vision into practical, sustainable architectures.
Snowflake Architect | Day-to-Day
  • Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data platforms using Snowflake and Azure, supporting greenfield initiatives and large-scale modernization efforts.
  • Define and implement architectural patterns for on-premises to cloud migrations, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics layers.
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to design scalable data models, ELT frameworks, and integration patterns using Snowflake and SQL.
  • Contribute to data strategy and roadmap development, aligning technical architecture with business goals and analytics needs.
  • Define and enforce data governance, security, and data quality standards, working closely with compliance and data management teams.
  • Review architectural designs, data pipelines, and implementations to ensure alignment with performance, scalability, security, and governance best practices.
  • Support analytics and reporting teams by ensuring Snowflake architectures enable self-service BI and reliable access to trusted data sources.

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud data engineering, or enterprise data platform design.

  • Proven experience leading greenfield data platform implementations and on-premises to cloud migrations.
  • Strong expertise in Azure, advanced SQL, and ETL/ELT architecture within enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise data strategies, including data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
  • Strong understanding of analytics enablement and integration with BI platforms such as Power BI or Sigma.
