Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu specifications as designed by Executive Chef. Produces Me en Place for all outlets the kitchen placed in services. Preparing food to the specifications that the customer/ Executive Chef has requested. You will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for the guests.
Essential Functions:
  • Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner
  • Consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment
  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures
  • Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef
  • Label and date products produced on a daily basis
  • Follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines
  • Assisting with basic food prep such as chopping, slicing and measuring
  • Prepare food using various appliances and equipment
  • Maintain a clean work station
  • Assist in menu planning and development
  • Overseeing and assisting to ensure standards are met in absence of the Lead or Chef
  • Stocking and setting up a station for meal service

Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform work related duties as assigned
  • Participate in department meetings

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • One year in Foods Industry in comparable job
  • Professional appearance
  • Food handler's permit or sanitation certificate
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
