POSITION TITLE:
Home Family Liaison Freedom School (Afterschool Program)
DEPARTMENT:
Innovations and Grant Dept.
REPORTS TO:
Grant Specialist (Grant Coordinator)/ Innovation Officer
SUPERVISES:
None
POSITION GOAL:
Function as liaison between school and home, assist with parent
groups and coordinate parent involvement with site coordinators and maintain attendance records while engaging in home visits.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function as liaison for parent groups and coordinate parent involvement with site coordinators
Maintain attendance of parents and report to site coordinator
Establish and maintain contact with parents
Keep accurate daily sign-in sheets for any visitors and submit them to site coordinators each day
  • Assist with students during activity rotations
Assist in logistics of parent programs
Alert site coordinators/Security to any unauthorized visitors, disru ptive external groups or individual or students who are not following rules Oversee snack distribution and paperwork
KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL SKILLS:
Demonstrate ability to work with children and adults.
Knowledge of community (preferred)
  • Technical skills (Word, Excel and One Drive)
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of the Civil Rights Movement (preferred)
