Job description

**This isn't your typical delivery driver position like DoorDash/Uber Eats!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the daily loading, transport, and unloading of our products from our Commissary location to the rest of our locations.
  • Load all products securely and accurately and deliver on time to the store locations.
  • Unload and assist with the proper storage of product at the stores.
  • Drive safely and responsibly, representing our company well while on the road as well as taking care of the company's vehicles.
  • Perform basic vehicle upkeep duties such as gas refilling, making sure the tires have air, and reporting any maintenance issues to management.
  • Assist the commissary with organizing, stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and other general upkeep duties as assigned.
  • Assist with packing for our national shipping program.
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 50-80 lbs for large portions of shifts.
  • Ability to comply with food safety and transport procedures.
  • Ability to be organized and capable of multi-tasking with efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to go up and down stairs.
  • Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 Years of driving experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
  • Must hold a valid state driver's license. CDL License preferred
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
