What We Are Looking For
This position is responsible for supporting retail and digital marketing strategy & execution across North America, including brand communications across all channels to build the Maje digital footprint (paid and organic), build brand awareness, and drive traffic to both retail stores & ecommerce. The role will work cross-functionally with local and global teams to execute marketing campaigns, retail activations, CRM communications, and paid media initiatives.

  • Direct Supervisor: Maje Marketing + Public Relations Manager
  • Executive Head: Vice President, Maje

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Strategy & Planning
  • Assist the PR & Marketing Manager in developing and executing seasonal marketing calendars aligned with business objectives, product launches, and key commercial moments. Work closely with the Global Marketing team for 360 global alignment.
  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across retail, digital, CRM, and paid media channels.

Retail Marketing
  • Collaborate with NY and Paris HQ (including Creative, Ecom, Visual, Merchandising) to develop and deliver collateral in support of key initiatives and communicate pertinent details of marketing programs.
  • Manage retail marketing calendar across North America stores, concessions, and outlet locations.
  • Develop and coordinate in-store events, clienteling initiatives, stylist partnerships, influencer visits, and local marketing activations.
  • Partner closely with Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Holt Renfrew, and Farfetch to seize all opportunities for brand exposure including pop-ups, event participation, digital coverage and promotions.
  • Track performance to prove YOY growth, collaborating with cross-functional partners to collect and shape insights to provide comprehensive marketing recaps and growth opportunities.

Digital Marketing
  • Support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns in partnership with internal digital team and external agencies/media partners to maximize impressions and deliver on KPIs.
  • Partner with CRM to plan strategic email & SMS cadences to promote new campaigns, product launches and local initiatives and to create strategies for client acquisition and retention.
  • Write and review email, SMS, and digital marketing copy, ensuring consistency with brand voice and commercial objectives.

Other
  • Cultivate elevated collaborations and partnerships with like-minded brands (such as exclusive products, cross-promotions, sweepstakes, in-store activations).
  • Assist in managing departmental budgets, invoices, and marketing expenses.
  • Support advertising initiatives and local marketing programs, including lease-required advertising opportunities.

Principal Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in retail marketing or digital marketing, preferably in the fashion industy
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently

Special Skills:
  • French, a plus
  • Content creation, a plus

Personal Characteristics:
  • Highly motivated proactive individual
  • Must be hands on and enjoy working in a highly creative and entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written) with experience working with retail partners
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, flexible and highly collaborative
