Job description

We are looking for an experienced Diesel tech to join our team. Most of our jobs entail installing new

heavy equipment attachments/systems, almost exclusively on excavators. The equipment is new, and

the work is clean.

Some field work may be required, but most of our jobs are done inside the shop at our Portland facility.

Responsibilities

Diesel tech/mechanic:

 Associate degree/certification or equivalent hydromechanical work experience.

 Heavy equipment experience required.

 Experience installing and troubleshooting 12V-24V systems.

 Experience installing and troubleshooting Hydraulic systems for heavy equipment

attachments/accessories.

 Experience working with/on excavators of all makes. Cat, John Deere, Komatsu, Link Belt,

Kobelco, etc.

 Understanding fundamentals and techniques of installing heavy equipment hydraulic

components is a must.

 Ability/experience building hydraulic hoses.

 Experience servicing/rebuilding Hydraulic cylinders.

 Experience safely operating excavator /heavy equipment in a limited workspace.

 Rigging/crane experience.

 Experience using hydraulic presses/porta power.

 Fabrication experience a plus, but not required.

 A/C certification a plus but not required.
