What You'll Do
As a Small Business Sale Representative, your primary focus will be generating new business opportunities and building relationships with local businesses.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and other creative lead-generation strategies.
  • Identify and connect with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Schedule appointments for commercial insurance consultations.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients and referral partners.
  • Learn clients' business operations and identify opportunities to provide insurance solutions.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to develop strategies for business growth.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track activity, appointments, and sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales and prospecting goals.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, outside sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • Proven success with outbound prospecting and developing new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve goals.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with business owners.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
