Job description

Description
Exit Without Selling solves small business owner-dependence with a dream team-led succession plan.
This role guides business owners through a proven framework system so they can step out of the day-to-day. You act as a business 'co-pilot.' The client flies the 'plane'. You are their guide
Your job is to help owners build a team, install structure, and stop being needed for every decision. You do this through Google Meet calls, clear homework, and direct accountability.
Position Vision
The Co-Pilot Advisor owns the complete client journey from Kickoff through Operate, guiding business owners through the COO Cycle (Clarity - Onboard - Operate) to reduce owner-dependence by building and training their Dream Team. The Advisor is a co-pilot, not a surrogate owner-they fly the plane, we guide. Success means clients move from "this feels impossible" to working less than 10 hours per week while their team grows the business profitably.
A-Player Profile
The person who crushes this role is a strategic thinker who guides without doing.
  • They resist the temptation to solve problems FOR clients-even when they see a five-minute fix.
  • They use the Socratic method to help clients discover answers themselves, letting them believe it was their idea.
  • They push clients beyond comfortable goals using the compression technique, then shift them emotionally from nervous to curious to confident.
  • They question every requirement, delete before they optimize, and trust the framework even when they think they know a faster way.

Compensation
  • Full capacity (25 clients): $15,750/month ($189,000/year)
  • Profit sharing based on company results

Responsibilities
$42
Qualifications
An ideal candidate has experience in all three of these areas:
• Owned or operated one or more businesses and successfully reduced owner dependence.
• At least 3 years of experience coaching business owners on how to reduce reliance on themselves.
• Broad exposure across multiple industries, or deep expertise in one of the industries we serve: Home Services, Commercial Contracting, or Expert-Centric Businesses.
