About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct therapies, and monitor patient progress. Your expertise will enable our patients to regain their communication skills, improve their swallow function, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
โข Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with communication and swallowing disorders
โข Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific patient needs
โข Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapies to patients
โข Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
โข Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
โข Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Requirements:
โข Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
โข Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Vermont
โข Ability to work independently and as part of a team
โข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
โข Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
โข Experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders
