Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy services in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care and physician orders. The SLP collaborates with teachers, families, and school personnel to support students' communication, language, and academic goals.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of California required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state, district, or contract
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • CPR certification 
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
