Job description

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, youโ€™ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! Youโ€™ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and weโ€™re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 5:00am - 2:00pm

Location:

425 S 67th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043

What You'll Do
  • Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

  • Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

  • Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

  • Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

  • The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
