Slot Technician
POSITION PURPOSE:
Performs daily preventative maintenance program to ensure maximum performance and condition of all slot machines. Position also entails project involvement with slot machine installations, moves, and modifications. Provide fast and friendly service to customers at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the execution of Preventative Maintenance Program standards developed by Slot Performance team.
  1. Ensure maximum performance and reduce machine downtime through preventative maintenance.
  2. Minor repairs of machines may be required during the preventative maintenance service time.
  3. Additional functions include involvement in daily moves and modifications projects to continue to build knowledge base and experience levels.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITY:
Must be able to quickly maneuver and work inside assigned area, while quickly lift, pull, push and carry up to 100 pounds.
  1. Must be able to turn key constantly.
  2. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  3. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel and twist.
  4. Must be able to continuously and quickly maneuver around casino slot areas for entire shift.
  5. Must be able to tolerate stressful situations.
  6. Must be able to have dexterity in both hand and finger movement.
  7. Must be able to handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have.
  8. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  9. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  10. Must have fundamental knowledge of electronics, machinery and tools.
  11. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  12. Promote Binions Las Vegas by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly manner.
  13. Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  14. Willing to work any day of the week and any shift.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Slot repair school or prior slot experience preferred
