Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Slot Operations/Slot Tech department. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Ensure that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns / deviations to the Executive Management / GM.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of slot technicians to ensure the timely and effective maintenance of slot machines.
  • Oversee regular maintenance schedules, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot technical problems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage the installation and upgrades of new slot machines and related equipment, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.
  • Ensure all slot machines and systems meet local, state, and federal gaming regulations, including software and hardware requirements.
  • Provide support for players and team members by addressing machine-related issues and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of slot machine parts, tools, and supplies to ensure efficient repairs and installations.
  • Analyze and monitor slot machine performance, using data to identify trends and recommend strategies to increase revenue.
  • Optimize slot machine offerings, including game placement, themes, and configurations based on data and player preferences.
  • Develop strategies to increase profitability by identifying high-performing games, adjusting payout structures, and recommending machine additions or removals.
  • Prepare and present reports on slot performance, offering insights and recommendations to senior management and relevant departments.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote high-performing games, run promotions, and design customer loyalty programs that drive engagement.
  • Use customer feedback and behavior analysis to align slot offerings with player preferences and improve satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth running of slot operations, including machine placement and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed on the latest gaming technologies and industry trends to ensure the casino's slot operations remain competitive.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or a combined education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in slot operations, performance analysis, or casino management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in budgeting, revenue optimization, and cost-effective management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regard to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
