Job description

The Slot Attendant provides fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service to guests on the slot floor. This role assists players with machine operation, resolves minor technical issues, processes jackpots and payouts, and ensures a positive gaming experience. Slot Attendants help maintain game integrity, support slot operations, and deliver exceptional guest service in a highenergy environment.

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Racing & Gaming license
  • HS Diploma or GED required

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers
  • Constant public contact with frequent interruptions
  • Basic computer skills required, must demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency
  • Must be able to add, subtract, and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid and accurate rate. 
  • Must present a professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Courteous, friendly, outgoing personality is essential 

  • Good organizational skills required 

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy required

  • Ability to maintain extremely confidential information

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds

  • Actively patrols assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests, While, enhancing guest's slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of slot wins and building players' perception of luck 
  • Displays attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each "Moment of Truth" interaction throughout the shift
  • Develops customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company trained initiatives
  • Clearly communicates functionality of Slot Floor (i.e., Fast Cash - ticket in/ticket outs
  • Responds to the right customers in the right order for service requests including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards  
  • Verifies and countersigns hand paid jackpots 
  • Resolves guest complaints through the use of "Service Recovery" with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority 
  • Keeps slot areas clean, secure, and well maintained 
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same 

  • Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same  

  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
