PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a detail-oriented and technical Machine Operator for a premier film and material conversion facility in Greer. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized machinery to slit and convert plastic film to exact customer specifications. While we are willing to train the right person, we highly value candidates with experience in specialized material slitting.


Slitting Machine Operator Primary Responsibilities include:

Your main responsibility is the setup and operation of slitting machinery, ensuring plastic film materials are cut to precise widths and lengths with zero defects.

  • Machine Setup: Configure slitting machines based on specific work orders, adjusting blades, tension, and speed for various film types.
  • Production Monitoring: Oversee the continuous run of materials, making real-time adjustments to ensure straight cuts and proper winding.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct frequent visual and dimensional checks to ensure the film meets strict tolerance requirements.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload large rolls of plastic film onto the machinery safely using appropriate hoist or lift equipment.
