Job description

NOW HIRING – Machine Operators. HSK STAINLESS LLC. is seeking experienced and motivated Slitter Operators/Helper to join a growing steel processing facility! If you have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical skills, and take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Position: Machine Operator/Helper
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Category: Production / Industrial

What You'll Be Doing:

âś” Operate and monitor steel slitting equipment to process flat-rolled steel coils to customer specifications
âś” Review work orders, coil identification, gauges, widths, and production requirements before and during each run
âś” Assist with machine setup, threading, changeovers, adjustments, and production checks
âś” Monitor line speed, material flow, edge quality, surface condition, tooling, and finished product quality
âś” Complete production paperwork, labels, tags, and system entries accurately
âś” Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members
âś” Work closely with Helpers, Material Handlers, QA, Packaging, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Leadership to keep operations running smoothly
âś” Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and pinch-point awareness
