Job description

NOW HIRING – Machine Operators. HSK STAINLESS LLC. is seeking experienced and motivated Slitter Operators/Helper to join a growing steel processing facility! If you have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical skills, and take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Position: Machine Operator/Helper
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Category: Production / Industrial

What You'll Be Doing:

✔ Operate and monitor steel slitting equipment to process flat-rolled steel coils to customer specifications
✔ Review work orders, coil identification, gauges, widths, and production requirements before and during each run
✔ Assist with machine setup, threading, changeovers, adjustments, and production checks
✔ Monitor line speed, material flow, edge quality, surface condition, tooling, and finished product quality
✔ Complete production paperwork, labels, tags, and system entries accurately
✔ Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members
✔ Work closely with Helpers, Material Handlers, QA, Packaging, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Leadership to keep operations running smoothly
✔ Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and pinch-point awareness
