Job Summary

Supports a worldwide, Multi-Service population of mobile and fixed-site terminal users. It surpasses the capability of the Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) Follow-On (UFO) SATCOM system by providing reliable service to small, disadvantaged, and mobile terminals. As the Lead System Integrator (LSI), NX is responsible for the overall systems integration in accordance with the CMPS requirements. As such, NX formed the Verification and Validation (V&V) team to oversee developmental and integration test efforts for the SLE satellites acquisition and Ground updates.
Telework is supported at 40%. Travel is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Falls organizationally under the Verification & Validation (V&V) functional team in the NX Chief Engineer (NXE) organization. Responsible for ensuring the SLE satellites acquisition and ground updates meet design requirements and intended functionality through systematic verification and validation. Serves as key contributor to test plans and test procedures development for the Space and Ground End-to-End (N2N) verification tests and On-orbit System Validation (OSV) test. In addition to test document development, this role involves managing/participating in the Space, Ground, and Test Bed working groups in respective to V & V. Coordinates technical discussions, collaborate with Space, Ground, and Test Bed vendors to analyze and resolve test issues/findings. This position requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of test methodology, event planning, and resource allocation.
