Movement Labs is an incubator and consulting firm that uses technology, data, and experimentation to stop fascism and build progressive power. We help progressives win and defeat MAGA extremists through year-round work grounded in research and real-world testing. Our team partners with leading advocacy groups, grassroots organizers, and electoral campaigns to develop innovative tactics, win elections, and shift power for the long term.

As the R&D powerhouse for the progressive movement, we've run over 100 randomized control trials (RCTs) on voter behavior and helped hundreds of organizations increase their impact. We work hard, and the environment evolves rapidly. We are adaptable, nimble, and shift quickly as needed to meet the moment. We are looking for candidates that thrive in this type of environment.

As a Program Management Associate for the 2026 Election Cycle, you will be part of the Program team. You will be responsible for supporting internal voter turnout and persuasion programs to increase the impact and reputation of Movement Labs' Core programs. Your primary focus will be on efficient and excellent delivery of design, research, and campaign services.

This position is temporary and will run through November 20, 2026. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities:
  1. Program services
    • Draft compelling and impactful messaging that align with voter turnout and persuasion program goals
    • Take initiative in supporting experiment design, including drafting assets in collaboration with the Deputy Director and the Director of Program Management
  2. Research and outreach services
    • Support with election, voter turnout, and persuasion research on prospective internal campaigns as needed
    • Collaborate with other departments to conduct full research as needed
  3. Program Team project support
    • Follows project management workflows, reliably meeting deadlines and proactively highlighting blockers/obstacles
    • Effectively communicates and collaborates across verticals within the Program team and across teams at Movement Labs as needed 
    • In addition to internal programs, supports in executing client programs based on organizational needs and priorities
  4. Documentation, systems, and reporting
    • Manage Asana, Slack, Loom, Google Suite, and Launchpad-based systems for project management and cross-team communications
    • Support Deputy Director and Director of Program Management in developing documentation and automation to increase the efficiency of project management processes and improve the quality of voter outreach programs
    • Support collaboration on program launches with Core Engagement Services team by contributing on interlock calls, learning new systems, and providing feedback on processes
    • Support drafting program reports and experiment results decks, clearly conveying program details, RCT results, and drawing actionable insights
  5. Cross-team collaboration
    • This role works collaboratively across Program and additional Movement Labs teams to deliver programs that meet department and client needs
    • From time to time as needed, this role will be responsible for project management of specific Program-related research projects and/or client outreach activities, as defined by Program leadership

      6.   Management: Programs / People

    • Provide occasional project-management support of cross-functional team members during group projects

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, program support, or operations (internships welcome)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Benefits

    • a base salary of $60,000-$69,000 (Level 1)
    • $2,000 cycle-completion bonus for staying through Election Day
