Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized. With additional food handling, prep work, storage and product rotation duties.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Clean and Sanitize Dishware: Operate dishwashing equipment and handwash delicate items to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Monitor and Restock Supplies: Track levels of detergents, sanitizers, and cleaning solutions, restocking proactively to avoid disruptions.
  • Follow Safety and Sanitation Standards: Adhere to food safety protocols, ensure proper sanitization levels, and wear non-slip shoes at all times.
  • Support Team and Cleanliness: Assist staff as needed, clean and reset tables, and keep floors and surfaces free of spills and debris.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food prep
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand/walk for whole shift, lift up to 50 lbs
Additional - Worksite is 100% inside and you will be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication
Minimum time in related position - Restaurant kitchen and dishwashing experience preferred.
