Job description

About The Role
The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.
What You'll Do
  • Complete lot fit requests.
  • Complete site plan redraws as assigned.
  • Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.
  • Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws.
  • From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
  • Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.
  • Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Experience in civil drafting preferred.
