Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee civil construction operations on commercial and public works projects throughout Connecticut. This individual will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating crews, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting the successful execution of site development projects.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Site Superintendent or Civil Construction Superintendent experience

• Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings

• Experience laying out curbs, sidewalks, manholes, and catch basins

• Experience with sewer, water, and stormwater utility installations

• Knowledge of deep excavations, dewatering systems, and shoring systems

• Experience managing site concrete placement operations

• Familiarity with GPS survey equipment, preferably Topcon GPS

• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL Class A License

• Ability to operate heavy equipment

• Experience on prevailing wage projects

• Background in commercial, municipal, or public infrastructure construction
