Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Simulation Lab Technician to join our dynamic team at Larkin Nursing of School. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of our simulation lab, where nursing and medical students gain hands-on experience in a controlled environment that replicates real healthcare scenarios. Your skills will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning process and preparing s dents for their future careers in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:Simulation Lab Setup:
  • Prepare simulation equipment, including mannequins, medical instruments, and supplies, prior to scheduled lab sessions.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure accurate replication of various medical scenarios, including emergency situations, routine patient care, and specialized procedures.
Technical Support:
  • Provide technical assistance during simulation exercises, including the operation of simulators, audiovisual equipment, and other technology used for real-time feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during simulation sessions to ensure seamless learning experiences.
Maintenance and Calibration:
  • Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain simulation equipment to ensure proper functionality and hygiene.
  • Calibrate and update simulators according to manufacturer guidelines, making sure they accurately mimic physiological responses.
Scenario Development:
