  • Outerspace is a new type of Ops Center for high growth brands.
  • We do warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, product photography, and more.
  • This is not an old school warehouse operation that has been doing things the same way for 30 years.
  • We come from the brand side and have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada and Nice Laundry.
  • Role and Responsibilities· Supervises staff and directs work as they execute activities related to order fulfillment, order management, inventory management, stocking, material handling, equipment usage, and related needs· Maintain company culture, empower associates, and ensure morale is high.
  •  Prepares work schedules and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needs· Manages labor hours and payroll in timekeeping system· Ensures team understands and achieves performance goals· Recommends process improvements within the distribution center· Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels· Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team.
  •  Prepares reports for leadership· Other duties as required and assignedQualifications and Education Requirements· 3PL experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of prior leadership experience, ideally leading teams of at least 20+ associates.
  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
  • College degree is preferred but not required.
