Job Title:SAP GPD PMMO CONSULTANT/Lead for SCM & Mftg - Remote
As a Lead SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management & Optimization) Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's SAP team at a DoD end client project.You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
REQUIREMENT SUMMARY FOR AN SAP GPD PMMO CONSULTANT
Core Functional Requirements
  • Experience: 15+years of SAP PMMO/GPD experience, with at least 3 full-lifecycle S/4HANAimplementation.
  • ModuleExpertise: Deep knowledge of SAP Project System (PS), CO (MaterialCosting), MM (Material Master/MRP), and FI. Knowledgeof valuated and non-valuated stocks.
  • PMMO/GPDSkills: Proficiency in setting up MRP groups, groupingstrategies, pegging logic and exception configuration, and distribution ofactual costs on WBS elements.
  • ManufacturingKnowledge: MTO planning strategies, sub-contracting, interplanttransfers, lead time scheduling, and MRP areas.
  • S/4HANAFocus: Expertise in migrating from ECC GPD to S/4HANA PMMO 2020or higher.

Project & Technical Skills
  • SolutionDesign: Ability to define business-driven configuration forcomplex manufacturing environments.
  • Integration: Solidunderstanding of logistics (PP/MM) & controlling (CO) integration.
  • Troubleshooting: Strongroot cause analysis for cost or supply mismatches.
  • Documentation: Experiencecreating functional specifications, user testing, and training materials.

Preferred Qualifications
  • IndustryExperience: Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
  • Certification: SAPS/4HANA Project Systems or CO certification.
  • Security: Experiencewith ITAR or DoD (IL4) data handling requirements

Common Responsibilities
  • ConfiguringPMMO grouping, pegging, and distribution objects and profiles.
  • Designingand implementing grouping strategies for material demand.
  • Leadingworkshops and gathering requirements from stakeholders.

PMMO is not a standalone module-it's more of a cross-functional capability / solution layer within SAP S/4HANA
PMMO sits across the following modules and you need to have full SCM cross functional knowledge:
• PP (Production Planning)
• MM (Materials Management)
• PS (Project System)
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 10+ years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
  • This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 10+ years of experience in complex SAP environments.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4 HANA Optimizing project-based manufacturing processes within the S/4 SAP ecosystem.
  • Implementing Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) / Grouping Pegging & Distribution (GPD) SAP Best Practice
  • Work Stream requirement gathering with the business process owners fill in the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire.
  • Experience in the following: MTO Planning Strategies, Use-up, Interplant, ROP, Lead Time Scheduling, Co-products, Subcontracting, Capacity Planning, Variable size planning, planned scrap, MRP Areas, Advance Procurement, Quota Arrangements.
  • Logistic and Controlling use of Project Systems
  • Manufacturing Process Configuration Knowledge
  • Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Configuration Knowledge.
  • Contributing to efficient material requirements planning (MRP), project systems, logistics optimization, and streamlined project execution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules.
  • Providing support during system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops for end-users and key stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to system configuration and processes.
  • Resolving technical issues and troubleshooting problems within the SAP system.
  • Monitoring system performance and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Ensuring the integration of SAP solutions with business goals and processes.
  • These consultants play a crucial role in the success of project-based manufacturing operations, ensuring that the SAP system aligns with the business objectives and enhances operational efficiency
