Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews, observations, and standardized tests to inform treatment planning.
  • Design individualized and group therapy programs that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs and circumstances.
  • Provide regular therapy sessions, offering clients coping strategies, resources, and support designed to foster resilience and facilitate their recovery journey.
  • Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documenting client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create integrated care plans that address both mental health and physical well-being.
  • Guide clients through crisis situations, employing crisis intervention strategies to ensure safety and immediate support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges from children to adults, each facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and substance use disorders. Understanding the unique needs of diverse populations is essential in delivering effective care. You will work closely with clients from various cultural backgrounds, requiring sensitivity to their individual experiences and the frameworks that shape their lives.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
  • A minimum of four years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically in a community health or clinical setting.
  • Proficient in a variety of therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural responsiveness in therapy.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in both individual and group therapy settings, utilizing culturally informed and inclusive therapeutic practices.
