Production Associate
SpeedPro Omaha is a sign manufacturing and installation company that caters to large and small businesses including major brands and marketing agencies. SpeedPro specializes in production of retail/brand graphics, tradeshow displays, event signage, wall murals, vehicle graphics and more.
SpeedPro is looking for a dependable Production Associate that is a driven, multi-tasker with a great attitude, strong work ethic and has excellent communication skills.
The Production Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of production tasks related to the manufacturing of traditional signage manufacturing and digital printing.
You will be responsible for meeting deadlines for various print and signage projects while continually communicating and conferring with the team on daily workflow and deadlines. Communication is critical in this role as the Production Associate will help day-to-day production operations.
Job duties include:
  • Perform finishing methods on produced graphics and signage (mounting, laminating and cutting)
  • Operation and maintenance of large format printer and plotter
  • Operation of metal shear and punch
  • Package signage for installation
  • Learn and reference product knowledge as needed when producing
  • Document inventory of parts, products and other consumables as needed
  • Inspect and ensure finished products are at an acceptable quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area
  • Inventory organized, labeled and accounted for
  • Tools well kept, organized and in their proper place
  • Floor clean
  • Trash emptied
  • Desk areas organized and clean
  • Ship and receive products
  • Attend and take part in team meetings when required
  • Coordinate with the rest of the team as needed

Skills required:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with capacity for multi-tasking
  • Detail oriented, accountable and have a strong work ethic
  • Take criticism constructively
  • Able to consult and communicate with clients as needed
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs

Ideal candidates will also possess:
  • Experience with large format printers, laminators and plotters
  • Experience with advanced CNC machines and/or specialized tools
  • Experience with graphic and signage finishing
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Compensation: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour
