Goodhue Public Schools has the following opening for your consideration: 
Position:  Washington D.C. Adviser for the 2026-2027 school year. 
Description:  The Washington D.C. Teacher/adviser would be a Co-Adviser for the yearly 9th-grade Washington DC School Trip. This is a fantastic educational trip and a memory maker for students and staff. The six-day trip is in November. Adviser responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
- Plan annual trip dates with administration and the Wash DC Travel Company
- Attend approximately two annual meetings - sign-up meeting and packing meeting
- Help in the planning details - hotel and bus assignments, venue permission forms, scholarships, etc
- Be a point of contact for the Travel Company, students, and parents
- Attend the trip and be a lead Co-Adviser/Lead Chaperone in charge of student behavior and decision maker for the school. A Co-Adviser could either go on the trip yearly, or take turns attending the trip, depending on class size and need. (The Travel Company will lead the trip and plan the detailed itinerary. They will also provide all educational materials for the trip.)
- Lead a yearly fundraiser
