Position: RN FSED โ€“ Free Standing Emergency Dept.
Location:ย Panama City, FL
Shifts/Schedule: Full-time โ€ข Nights (Rotating Weekends) or Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
What Youโ€™ll Do:
We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room RN to join our team. To be successful in this role you must be a quick thinker, decision-maker, and multitasker, with a willingness to adapt to whatever the day may bring. In this role you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
ยท Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages
ยท Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
ยท Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
ยท Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually
ยท You will provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals
ยท You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while always being patient focused and safety aware.
Qualifications Required:
  • MUST have 3+ years of recent (Within the last year) Acute Care ER RN experience.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held in another state, active FL RN compact license is required within 90 days of hire. Advanced Nurse Practitioner license acceptable
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required within 30 days
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay rate range: Min $27.72/hr. โ€“ Max $39.60/hr. (Based on years of experience)
  • Shift Diffs: Nights $4/hr.
