POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Sign Maker manufactures a variety of signs to meet the customer's requirements, using a variety of fonts, graphics, computer, and freehand technique.
Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Job Requirements, Mandatory:
โ€ข Valid state driver's license.
โ€ข Must be able to obtain Flight line driving permit.
โ€ข Five years' experience in sign making.
โ€ข Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
โ€ข Ability to read, write, speak, and understand American English to an eighth grade level for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings, as per contract requirement.
Job Requirements, Preferred:
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข General knowledge of other maintenance and construction trades.
