A Fire Sprinkler Associate Project Manager at Siemens is responsible for the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying complexities. For all varieties of sprinkler projects, the Project Manager holds fiscal cost reporting responsibilities for all project facets, including project billing, job responsibility, and overall customer satisfaction.
As the Fire Sprinkler Associate Project Manager, you will:
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation requirements.
  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
  • Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
  • Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide comprehensive project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, and project contacts.
  • Track resources and project progress.
  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing, collaborating with the Accounting team and Operations Manager.
  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.
  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures, and report unsafe conditions and actions.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in local and national fire sprinkler codes and regulations (NFPA 13, NFPA 25 AND NFPA 20)
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
  • NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the commercial Fire Sprinkler industry

The pay range for this position is $55,264 - $94,738 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
