Our client is seeking an experienced SI Assembler!!
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in assembling military cable and wire harness assemblies is highly preferred.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification a plus.

1ST SHIFT

Essential Functions and Competencies

  • Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing our client.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work with diverse groups
  • Participate in a continuous improvement activity
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math

Qualifications / Education / Experience
  • Reading drawing, using tools, commutation with co-workers and supervisor, dealing with multiple jobs at any given time.
  • Ability to follow a process.
  • Review Drawings, Bills of Material, Part Description of Mechanical Parts, Fasteners, Wires, Connectors, Washers, Spacers, and similar types of parts
  • Assemble kits using kitting instructions with accurately reading parts, quantities, revisions
  • Assemble Wire Harness, Cable Assemblies using shop tools such was wrenches, torque drivers, hand tools, thread gages, Go - No-Go Gages
  • Accurately assemble Electrical and or Mechanical Parts using either an example or from Assembly drawings or Instructions
  • Fill forms, record data, verify count accuracy, check assembly description, dimensions, size, color
  • Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
  • Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
  • Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
  • Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
  • Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
  • May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
  • Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
  • Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit
  • Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
  • All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
  • A background and previous work experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Defense, Military, Army with a similar experience is considered a plus
