Job description

The Digital Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, merchandising, and revenue growth of mattressfirm.com and all core sites with an emphasis on site productivity, sales growth, and conversion. This role supports the planning and execution of digital merchandising strategies including the SKU Lifecycle process, product placement, copy and content needs.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of and help maintain digital merchandising strategies to drive sales, conversion rate, and overall profitability for the site.

  • Utilize relevant reporting and analysis tools to communicate digital business trends, online shopping behaviors, click streams, category and SKU level performance.

  • Conduct and provide regular competitive analysis to identify best practices and recommend action steps.

  • Research and analyze eCommerce trends as well as report on competitors.

  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.

  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.

  • Communicates any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Upload product attributes, content and and product images while managing the online product life cycle for assigned categories on all core sites.

  • Collaborate with upper management on decisions that improve product page views and conversion rates and impact category and sorting functions.

  • Analyze business and present opportunities and risks.

  • Analyze click stream and customer behavior for opportunities to increase conversion and sales.

  • Monitor live site daily to ensure category, navigation, and product accuracy.

  • Participate in various meetings to understand business plans, product assortments, and key initiatives.

  • Develop strategic relationships with vendor partners to mutually drive business initiatives.

  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Contributes ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred

  • 1+ years related experience required
