Role Overview


 The Showroom & Sample Room Intern will support the daily operations of Schumacher's Chicago showroom, helping maintain our sample library, assist clients, and contribute to an inspiring, organized, and elevated environment. This role is ideal for someone studying interior design or with a strong interest in the luxury design industry who wants hands-on experience in a creative, fast-paced setting.


What You'll Do:

Support the upkeep and organization of the sample room - replenishing stock, filing samples, and ensuring the library reflects current collections.Assist with pulling and preparing samples for client requests, showroom appointments, and regional sales representatives.Help source and locate hard-to-find samples in collaboration with the Chicago Sales Coordinator.Assist on the showroom floor, greeting and guiding clients to products and resources.Participate in monthly floor set updates - helping merchandise new arrivals and remove discontinued items.Provide general support to the Chicago Sales Coordinator and showroom team on creative and operational projects.Occasionally assist with showroom events and outreach initiatives, contributing to Schumacher's vibrant community presence.
