Summary

The Pricing & Commercial Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the travel management market. This role partners closely with Sales, Account Management, Finance, Operations, Supplier Relations, and Technology teams to evaluate commercial opportunities, support client bids, and provide analytical insights that drive business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with commercial acumen and has experience working with travel data, supplier contracts, and customer pricing models.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Pricing & Commercial Analyst at Fox may include:

  • Developing pricing models for new and existing corporate travel clients, recommending pricing strategies based on market conditions, client requirements, company objectives, and profitability targets.
  • Analyzing customer profitability, margins, revenue, and pricing performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Supporting the preparation of proposals, RFPs, tenders, contract renewals, and client pricing requests by providing accurate financial analysis and pricing recommendations.
  • Monitoring pricing performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Building financial models and assisting in creating business cases to evaluate commercial viability for new business opportunities, assessing business scenarios and commercial risks.
  • Tracking key commercial KPIs and preparing regular performance reports.
  • Analyzing airline, hotel, car rental, rail, and ancillary supplier agreements, including commission structures, incentive programs, and negotiated rates.
  • Identifying trends in travel spending and booking behavior.
  • Supporting supplier negotiations through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborating with Sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders during client acquisition and contract negotiations.
  • Responding to pricing-related client inquiries.
  • Producing dashboards and management reports using business intelligence tools.
  • Monitoring pricing accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and improving pricing methodologies and governance.
  • Present commercial insights to senior leadership.
  • Identifying and supporting implementation of financial automation opportunities and new tools to enhance pricing efficiency and reporting capabilities within pricing and reporting processes.
  • Maintaining a favorable and collaborative working relationship with co-workers in all departments to foster an environment of trust and mutual respect. Driving standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a culture of engagement.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

This opportunity might be for you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, financial analysis, or revenue management.
  • Experience within a Travel Management Company (TMC), airline, hospitality, or travel industry preferred.
  • Experience supporting RFPs and commercial bids is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with reporting and query tools such as Power BI, Domo or Tableau.
  • Understanding of pricing methodologies and profitability analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Commercial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design and procedural methods used in data analysis.

The estimated base pay range for this position starts between $60,000 and $80,000 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. The salary range provided represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We structure our offers within the range based on location, experience, education, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, market conditions, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.


Eligible positions may receive additional incentive or commission, as outlined in applicable program details.
