Job description

Product Photographer
Full-time • On-site • Mid-Level (3-5 years experience)
About the Role
We're a marketing and creative agency looking for a Product Photographer to join our in-house creative team. You'll be the person responsible for translating our clients' products into images that sell, scroll-stop, and stand out across e-commerce, social, and ad campaigns. From sleek studio shots to lifestyle setups with personality, you'll own the visual quality of the work that ships.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the craft of photography but also thrives in a collaborative agency environment where deadlines are real and creative briefs come from a dozen directions.
What You'll Do
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality product photography for a diverse client roster spanning e-commerce, CPG, beauty, apparel, and beyond
  • Set up and operate studio lighting, backdrops, and camera systems for both white-background catalog work and creatively styled lifestyle imagery
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, and account managers to interpret briefs and deliver imagery that meets client objectives
  • Manage post-production: color correction, retouching, compositing, and final delivery in client-ready formats
  • Maintain and organize the studio space, lighting equipment, props, and digital asset library
  • Keep an eye on visual trends across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to push our work forward
  • Occasionally direct on-location shoots and freelance assistants or stylists when the project calls for it
What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of professional product photography experience, ideally in an agency, studio, or in-house brand environment
  • A portfolio that shows range: clean catalog work, editorial-leaning lifestyle, and everything in between
  • Mastery of studio lighting (strobes, continuous, modifiers) and confidence shooting tethered
  • Strong post-production chops in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; Capture One experience is a plus
  • Comfort working with a range of camera systems (we shoot primarily on [insert system])
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple shoots and deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit-you can take feedback, give it, and keep the work moving
Nice to Have
  • Experience with video capture and basic motion content for social
  • Background in styling, prop sourcing, or set design
  • Familiarity with DAM systems and studio workflow tools
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platform image specs (Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Access to top-tier studio equipment and a creative team that genuinely loves what they do
  • Opportunities to grow into senior creative roles
How to Apply
Send your resume, portfolio (link or PDF), and a short note about your favorite recent shoot to hello@polamarketing.com. Applications without a portfolio won't be considered.
