Program Manager, AI Transformation (Miami, In-Office)

Avenue Z

Miami, FL • On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision

Job description

About Avenue Z, Inc.
Avenue Z is the AI-first agency - a digital marketing and PR company engineered to move fast. Brands partner with us to drive revenue and reputation across all channels, from ChatGPT to The Wall Street Journal, Shopify to TikTok, Meta to Google. Trusted by leaders in consumer brands, tech, and finance, we power the earned, owned, and performance media channels driving influence.
About the Role
Avenue Z is one of the fastest-moving marketing and communications agencies in the AI era - blending performance media, brand, PR, and Shopify/TikTok commerce expertise under one roof. We are not buying AI off a shelf. We are building it into the operating fabric of everything we do, and we are expanding that capability for clients.
We are hiring a Program Manager, AI & Digital Transformation to own that mandate from the inside out. This is not a traditional program management role. It sits at the intersection of business analysis, process architecture, and hands-on AI build - and it reports directly to the CTO.
If you have spent your career translating business complexity into systems that actually run, and you are now doing that with AI tools rather than PowerPoint decks, we want to talk.
What You Will Do:
  • AI Transformation Roadmap Define and drive the internal AI use case roadmap across all Avenue Z practices - creative, media, PR, client services, and operations. Prioritize by impact, feasibility, and time-to-value.
  • Business Analysis & Process Mapping Conduct stakeholder interviews and operational audits across departments. Document current-state workflows, identify automation opportunities, and design future-state processes with AI embedded at the right points - not bolted on.
  • AI Agent & Workflow Design Prototype and deploy AI-powered agents, automations, and workflow integrations using LLMs and low-code/no-code platforms. Translate marketing and operational pain points into tools that actually scale. Hand mature solutions off to engineering for productionization.
  • Agentic Readiness Assessment Evaluate teams and workflows for AI readiness. Identify data gaps, governance needs, and integration points. Lead phased adoption from experimentation to structural workflow re-architecture.
  • Governance & Human-in-the-Loop Design Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality and output. Establish guardrails, compliance checkpoints, and audit trails. Ensure AI systems are explainable, accountable, and safe for client-facing use.
  • Vendor & Tool Evaluation Evaluate and manage AI platform vendors, tool integrations (n8n, Make, Zapier, Glean, Fireflies, LangChain, MCP servers, etc.), and strategic partnerships. Own the technical selection criteria and ROI frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Execution Partner with practice leads, media, creative, and client services teams to embed AI into delivery workflows without disrupting what works. Run workshops, sprint reviews, and working groups. Build internal AI fluency.
  • Measurement & Reporting Define KPIs for transformation initiatives - time saved, headcount capacity redirected, quality improvements, and revenue impact. Report progress to senior leadership and the board.

What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves
  • 3-5 years in program management, business analysis, or technical product management - ideally with exposure to marketing, agency, or GTM systems
  • Proven track record of process mapping and workflow redesign at an organizational level (not just individual workflows)
  • Hands-on experience building with AI tools - you have actively used and can demonstrate proficiency in tools such as Glean, n8n, Zapier, Make, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other LLM-based platforms; this is not a "familiarity" requirement, it is a working one
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business pain points into structured AI-enabled solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management: comfortable running interviews, workshops, and executive-level readouts
  • Data-driven - you measure what you build and kill what doesn't work

Strongly Preferred
  • Background in marketing, media, or communications agency environments
  • Experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, n8n, Claude API, OpenAI Assistants, MCP)
  • Experience with business process optimization (BPO) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, TikTok, and/or performance media tech stacks
  • Experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based product development
  • Prior exposure to governance, responsible AI, and human-in-the-loop design
  • Comfort operating as a player-coach - you build AND you lead

Not Required
  • A computer science degree or formal engineering background
  • Experience at a large enterprise or GSI
  • A full technical team under you from Day 1, we grow into structure

Why Avenue Z
We are a company that has already deployed production AI agents into operations - from PR and client services to Shopify assessments and media analytics. We are not starting from scratch, and we are not pretending AI is something we will get to. It is already how we work.
This role will have direct access to the leadership team, real decision-making authority, and the ability to shape how an entire agency evolves for the next decade.
We are also actively expanding our AI transformation services to clients - which means this role has a path that grows with the company, not just within a function.
Compensation & Structure
  • Base salary $85,000 (negotiable) - commensurate with experience and demonstrated AI tool proficiency
  • Performance bonus tied to transformation milestones (target 10-15% of base)
  • Benefits package including health, dental, and vision
  • Onsite in Miami, FL
  • Direct report to the CTO
