Job description

New Tech Global is seeking a dependable Shop Hand to assist with preparing equipment and supporting daily shop operations. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.Overview
  • Take direction from the Assistant Foreman and support daily operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with repairing and maintaining equipment
  • Ensure tools are properly maintained, signed out/in daily, and kept in working condition
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
  • Keep required training and certifications up to date
  • Work weekdays and weekends as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical knowledge required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (5-6 hours daily)
  • Comfortable working in a yard/shop environment
Work Attire
  • Steel-toed boots/shoes required
