Your duties include tracking and inspecting all incoming and outgoing products, designing schedules, recording information and weighing packages, preparing and attaching labels on packaging, and collaborating with management, vendors, and transportation departments. Communication skills are vital. Qualifications begin with a high school diploma, but career development can be boosted with certification or specialized training. On-the-job experience in a warehouse is preferred by most employers, but not required.

What does a shipping specialist do?

A Shipping Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the shipping and receiving of goods within a company.
