JOB SUMMARY
Join a fast-paced, secure manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and integrity matter. G+D is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee logistics operations for our secure card personalization department at our Bolingbrook facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for ensuring products are accurately packed, shipped, and received in compliance with strict customer and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with a growing company that plays a key role in the secure card manufacturing industry. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinate and execute all shipping and receiving activities, including picking, labeling, packaging, and scheduling shipments in line with routing guidelines
  • Prepare pallets safely and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements related to product identification, labeling, carrier selection, routing, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support physical inventory audits
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, promoting housekeeping standards
  • Support destruction of obsolete materials and issuance of secured vault items
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipping issues or delays promptly
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Ability to load and unload hand trucks with secure or sensitive materials according to compliance regulations
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability
  • Proven ability to follow safety protocols and quality control procedures
  • Solid organizational and planning skills; able to prioritize and make quick, effective decisions
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. safely and regularly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day
  • Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner

Pay ranges from $22-$28/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
