Job description

New Tech Global is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing client in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing, and logistics activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Overview
Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
Experience with ERP/Inventory systems preferred (Global Shop, Microsoft AX/Dynamics, SAP, TDS, or similar)
1-5 years of recent Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory, or Logistics experience
Responsibilities
Process incoming and outgoing shipments and related documentation
Match materials to purchase orders, work orders, job travelers, and other internal documentation
Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and shipping records
Generate and process purchase orders as needed
Coordinate shipments with customers, vendors, freight carriers, and internal departments
Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked
Upload and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
Communicate product and shipment status to operations, sales, and customers
Support inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse operations
Assist with customer returns, freight scheduling, and logistics coordination
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Participate in on-call support as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory Control, or Logistics experience
Strong computer and data entry skills
Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems
Knowledge of shipping documentation, purchase orders, and inventory processes
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Oil & Gas manufacturing experience preferred
