Job description

Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Houston, TX (100% On-site)
Pay Range: $20–22/hr on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking top talent to join our Materials Support team. The Material Handler will support operations in the Supply Chain/Materials Management department, including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Warehousing, Inventory Control, and Shipping. While initially assigned to a core area, the candidate will be cross-trained to develop knowledge across the full scope of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily functions in assigned core area (Receiving, Issuing, Shipping, Warehouse, or Inventory Control).
  • Accurately execute SAP transactions (Goods Receipt, Stock Overview, Stock Put-Away, Material Movements, Sales Distribution) in compliance with cGMP requirements and SOPs.
  • Carry out general stores supply processes, including initial receiving, released material handling, distribution, and restocking.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to assigned equipment, cGMP compliance, and Employee Health & Safety (EHS) requirements (including chemical awareness).
  • Maintain compliance with established workflows, documentation, and safety practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
