Job description

In this role, you will impact the overall supply chain performance by ensuring that shipments and receipts are processed accurately and efficiently, reducing errors and delays. Your attention to detail and operational knowledge will help maintain inventory accuracy and support production and distribution schedules.
 

You will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager, and you'll work out of our Saraland, AL location on an On-site work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of materials
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, or weekends as needed
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to schedule shipments and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and update systems accordingly
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and compliance with company standards
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments and inventory records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping and receiving processes

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or logistics operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems
  • Proficiency in using supply chain software, SAP, and tools to track and manage shipments
  • Ability to inspect shipments for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
